The Forgotten Story…
8June 21, 2011 by Employee of the Fukin Month
A tale foretold, a profits foresight…
—
Engulfed by darkness, sought by light.
A clever girl revered in battle, eternally damned for the fight.
—
Gauging from left to right.
She was blessed by heaven’s might,
And infused with hells bite.
A pact made long ago, the last recorded plot in an effort to reunite.
—
If looks alone could kill she was truly a sight.
Waist long hair, black as night.
Full round eyes, shined green and bright.
—
Determined to uphold the balance between darkness and light.
—
Campaigning throughout time, an exclusive right.
Knowing that every lifetime was doomed to end in contrite.
—
An endless cycle of wrong versus right.
Yet consumed by love for both – a perilous flight.
Torn between love and hate, should not be all right.
But the fight continues because she’s the balance between darkness and light.
—
As time passed – the story faded, most people chose to either ignore or rewrite.
No truth left to the tale, it’s now only a blister of political B.S. – everyone seems to be caught in its delight.
Used as a way to control those who cannot recollect, because they’ve been taught to no longer understand the difference between day and night.
—
So when the balancer is reborn, how will she be able to claim her true birthright? How will she remember what is the true fight?

it is tickling to see you in.
Thank you jingle – I enjoy being part of your community!
This is beautiful, I agree with you its a matter of balance not a Bipolar struggle for extremes
Well said, love your term bipolar struggle for extremes. Somehow I don’t think it that’s how it’s supposed to be, too black and white for my taste. Thanks for stopping by, love your work!
I like your story. I like the meaning behind it. It seems that right and wrong were so much easier to differentiate in the past. Now it’s all construed. People nowadays, have no clue. The only thing we can do is just look deep inside of us and find what is the difference between right and wrong.
Thanks for stopping by. Perhaps there was always confusion but we’re more confused now more than ever.
🙂
I really like the last lines.
Looking at something from an alternative perspective helps invoke witty questions! Glad to hear I inspired that in you – Thanks for stopping by 🙂
