Silent waters glisten beneath the full moons rays,
Gathering pulls of silver, black and blue bind together all ablaze.
A howl echos from the distance; shivers of cool air follow in its wake,
While shadows stretch across the broken earth like a snake.
Whispers of footsteps and shallow breaths linger into unidentified ears,
Offering no comfort, other than the darkness and its assumed fears.
Courage can be found skyward, a bright and brilliant face reaching out to us all.
Its magnetic pull; remarkable and enchanting within its midnight call.
